Our Work
The Waynesboro Police Foundation lives by the mission, "Serving Those Who Serve," by offering vital support to the dedicated officers who protect the community and by giving back through impactful programs. Each year, the Foundation honors the hard work and sacrifices of law enforcement during National Police Week, ensuring officers feel recognized and appreciated. The WPF is also a proud supporter of the K9 Officer Program. This program combines exceptional training with the natural instincts of the K9 officers to assist in a wide range of critical tasks.
Beyond supporting officers, the Foundation uplifts the Waynesboro community with initiatives like Present Patrol, which spreads holiday cheer by providing Christmas presents to children in need. We also support the Waynesboro Police Department during National Night Out and the Special Olympics Torch Run. Through these and other capstone projects, the Foundation strengthens the bond between law enforcement and the community, fostering a spirit of care and collaboration.
